Our Initiative
Returning Youth Initiative, Inc., (a 501(c)(3) charity organization) provides young adults with a pathway to be re-integrated into society, pursuing a new and productive life after being released from incarceration. They learn life skills; be employed; pursue long-term education; remain off the streets and out of a life of crime, and lead a rewarding life. This initiative is being done through partnerships with community-based organizations, DA’s offices, law enforcement, local townships, and the court systems.

Our mission is to provide post-incarcerated young adults with a supportive community to ensure a smooth integration back into society. We furnish them with the building blocks and support necessary to become self-sustaining individuals.

Why did Dr. Khanna start this initiative?
The Reformation Act did not adequately care for ex-offenders
Wanted to reduce recidivism amongst the youth
Absence of proper education and training inside jail programs
Lack of acceptance in the community from where they left
